Terms of service

These terms are between Resourcewise Consultancy Ltd (“we”, “us”) and the business that signs up (“you”) for Slicewise, an online ordering platform for food businesses. By creating an account you agree to them.

The service

We provide your branded ordering website, kitchen and driver screens and back office, and keep them running with reasonable care and skill. We may improve or change features; we will give notice of any change that removes a core feature.

Free trial, plans and payment

Every new account has a 14-day free trial with no card needed. After that the plan you chose applies: Starter £29/month, Growth £59/month, Multi-site £119/month (prices exclude VAT), billed monthly in advance. If a payment is overdue we give a 7-day grace period before ordering is switched off. We will give 30 days' notice of a price change. There is no commission on your orders: card payments go straight to your own Stripe account.

Your responsibilities

  • You are the seller to your customers. You are responsible for your menu, prices, allergen information, food safety, delivery, refunds and complying with the law (including the Food Information Regulations and consumer law).
  • Keep your logins secure and use two-step sign-in for owners and managers. You are responsible for what your staff do.
  • Only upload pictures and text you have the right to use. Don't use the service for anything unlawful.

Your data

Your data (menu, orders, customers) is yours. You can export it at any time from Data & privacy. We are your processor for your customers' personal data under our data processing agreement.

Cancelling

You can close your account at any time from Data & privacy. Your site goes offline, we keep your data for 30 days so you can export it, and then delete it permanently. We may suspend or close an account for non-payment, misuse, or if the law requires.

Availability and liability

We aim for high availability but cannot promise an uninterrupted service, and we are not liable for losses caused by things outside our control (such as your internet, payment provider or delivery driver problems). Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid in that period.
