Privacy policy
Last updated 28 October 2026
Resourcewise Consultancy Ltd, United Kingdom, runs Slicewise. This policy covers personal data about businesses that use the platform and their staff, for which we are the controller. For the personal data of a business's customers we act as that business's processor (see our data processing agreement): please read that business's own privacy policy.
What we collect
- Account details: business name, your name, email, phone, plan and billing status, and your password (kept only as a salted hash).
- Staff logins: names, emails, roles; sign-in times and the network and device used (security log, kept 12 months).
- Messages you send us and your use of the console.
Why we use it
To provide and secure the service and bill for it (contract), to meet our legal obligations such as tax records (legal obligation), and to keep the platform safe and improve it (legitimate interests). We send service emails; we send marketing only if you ask.
Who we share it with
Only the providers we need: hosting, email delivery, and, if you connect them, Stripe and Twilio (which you contract with directly). We do not sell personal data. Data stays in the UK or countries with an adequate level of protection, or with appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
While your account is open, and for 30 days after you close it (so you can export your data). Billing records for six years. Security logs for 12 months.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, object to processing or withdraw consent, by emailing contact@resourcewise.co.uk. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
The platform uses only essential cookies: a sign-in cookie for the console and back office. Nothing is used for tracking or advertising.
This is a template: have it reviewed by a solicitor before relying on it.
